Seasonality8

The RSV season usually starts in the late fall and runs through early spring. Depending on where you live, local outbreaks may vary.  In some areas of the United States, RSV season may last all year. Talk to your baby's healthcare provider to find out when RSV season is likely to occur where you live. If you have concerns about your child becoming infected with RSV, be sure to discuss additional protective steps you can take during your baby's next appointment.

When to Call the Doctor

Most cases of RSV infections are not severe. However, you should call your baby's doctor or healthcare provider right away if you have any concerns about your child's health.
